The Life of Chai

An hour and a half before midnight, I was walking close to Gardens by the Bay praying that my camera battery wouldn’t die out. It didn’t and so as I walked back to the hostel, I got a few more shots of iconic sights here in Singapore.

Of utmost importance is the understanding that time and effort are valuable. When we begin to see how much these two are worth, then we get a sense of what to demand of the things that warrant our attention.

There would be days when I wouldn’t say anything. There would be days when silence would become too addictive for me to even bother to say something.

Experts say we need to break out our goals into manageable, smaller tasks. I found out how that was true when I was planning a stretch of trips from 2016 to 2017.

Having a busy mind on top of having busy days makes downtime very integral to getting a refresh. Sometimes I dot it mid-week. Sometimes it’s either a Saturday or a Sunday.

It helps to get organized. This is why I created a Spreadsheet to keep track of my goals.

We have the power to create ourselves. If we reach that point when we look back and we aren’t happy about what we see, we can definitely re-create ourselves.
